Garden
throw flowers
throw dirt
Juicy The Notorious B.I.G.
"and if you don't know now you know nigga"
if you don't stand if your faith
then you will not stand at all
her standing led to her death
death
inevitable
life, live it, on your terms
unlike the garden
you're not coming back
do they even come back
the flowers
reincarnated
new
I am garden
full of color
insects
oh how I hate bugs
I think of their pupose
individually
bees
birds chirping
sitting on branches
dirty
feeling dirty
look at like I'm dirt
but there is no garden without
dirt
throw you dirt
catch
soil
nourishment
growth
budding
weeds standing tall
too lazy to cut them
I lie
to myself
embarrassed by them
mirror
me
too embarrassed to be seen
what are they saying about me
why hasn't she done anything with the weeds
oh now she wants to do something
outside
in the front
so I let them grow
cover
hiding
too embarrassed to be seen
but this me
me
me for me
and mine
inside
I am renewed
outside but in the back
I feel free
safe
I think of the front but what if they watch me
what
what if
what if they
what if they see me
me
see me
