Always, a poem

she asked me what do I do when bad things happen

I told her it’s time for action

you see once upon a time I was broken

but now I’m certain

He who is sovereign

said all things work for good

and I don’t mean to be rude

but it’s my mood

I am glued

to the goodness of the Most High

so even when I cry

I keep my head held high

because I know the Most High

is my supply

so whatever I require

I will acquire

all praises to Messiah

everything is energy

and it’s constantly flowing to me

there is no scarcity

no matter how much jealousy

come from my frienemies

I have the tenacity

spirituality

the mental capacity

some may call it audacity

but in reality

it’s just my personality

so let me give you some clarity

while you’re waiting on gravity

to pull me down

this princess will never drop her crown
